Today’s style is my absolute fave. I co-washed my hair using III Sisters of Nature Coconut co-wash. I love how it nourishes my hair. My curls appreciate the love. After *plopping my hair, I do the L.O.C method. I spritz my hair with some water (Liquid), then add some Oil to lock it in and then seal the hair with Cream. I used my treasured SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie today (it smells so good I have to stop myself from tasting it). My hair then goes into a high pineapple style for a few hours to dry. After that I take down the pineapple and style (I braided the left side and secured with a bobby pin. I find this method stretches out my hair and I can actually hear the popping sound my curls make (just kidding)
I must add that I don’t usually use the L.O.C method. My routine is to add a few drops of castor oil to my Tresemme Naturals conditioner and apply it to my hair.
Have you used the L.O.C method on your hair? Let me know your experience.
*plopping – wrapping your hair in a t-shirt. It causes less damage than a towel. The t-shirt behaves like an accordion, almost scrunching the hair by itself.
