Well hello gorgeous,
The Cape Town Natural Hair Fest is 4 days away… how did time fly this fast. Tensions are high but the team at Cape Town Naturally – Eleanor, Kasuba, Simone, Chantal and I are so excited to show you what we have planned for you. We cannot contain our excitement!
As you can imagine, putting a festival of epic proportions together is no easy feat and this natural hair blogger is finding it difficult to spend some quality time on her hair… I am not joking, I’ve been reaaaaallly bad. Thank goodness for Cantu beauty for keeping my curls on track! What I am about to show you is a 4 day wash n go, styled with Cantu and a little bit of H20.
To get this look I spritzed my hair with some water and smoothed it flat using the praying hand method. I made sure that every strand was moistened. I then grabbed a dollop of Cantu’s Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream and spread it all over my hair. To style, I grabbed a comb to part my hair and then did it up with one twist, and held it in place with a bobby pin – Easy Peasy! Results: Juicy Bomb Curls – and I thank you!
Needless to say, my curls were popping so much thanks to Cantu’s leave in conditioner, I had to take more pics!
As you know by now the Cape Town Natural Hair Fest is empowered Cantu and if you know me, you know I wouldn’t market something on my pages that I don’t truly believe in.
The festival is Sunday the 17th of December at Canvas Event Space in Paarden Island. You can purchase your tickets at the door at R100 each. Doors open at 11am. The theme is Afrodite: Warrior Woman. Please bring along tins of food and/or toiletries because we will be donating them to Christine Revell’s Children’s Home in Athlone.
If you see me at the festival, please come and say hi! Would love to meet you.

Hi! This blog is a curly haired girls dream. I live in Malawi, where curl products are hard to find. I have a trip to Cape Town in two months time and I’m hoping to stock up on alcohol-, paraben-, and silicone-free products. Where would you recommend finding products like Cantu, SheaMoisture, or Deva Curls in Cape Town?
