I did it! I uploaded my first YouTube video! Hallleluuuuuu!!! Oh Em Gee! What a mission it was to get started. I am the queen of procrastination, but when I start with something and I like the vibe, you can be sure that I will be back for more.
I won’t bore you with the details of how it finally got started (although maybe I should do a blooper video sometime in the future to show you), but I will say that I have so much more respect for YouTubers. This ish is not easy to put together. It’s hard work y’all!
It takes about half a day to film and then about another 2 to 3 days to edit. More if you also have a 9 to 5! I could go on about the ins and out of starting up a blog or vlog and the hustling that happens behind the scenes, but that’s a story for another day.
So far my video brought about 37 subscribers and 294 views. Pretty sure that 200 of those views are from my mom and dad, who keep checking up on it to see how many people viewed it, but hey- I appreciate the numbers. Also, thanks mom and dad!
