So in March this year, I found myself on a plane to visit Eleanor and attend the #ClicksCurls event at Summer Place in Johannesburg. Brands such as Aunt Jackies, Design Essentials, ORS Curls Unleashed, Cantu and South Africa’s own, My Natural Hair were in attendance.
The event was MC’d by Amanda Du Pont and Pearl Thusi was there as one of the panel member too, in all her #bighairdontcare glory! But enough name dropping – okay that’s a lie – I was so excited to reunite with my curlfriend bloggers in Johannesburg like @EleanorJadore @SilkHelmetLady @MzansiFro @woodenmirror_theblog and @naturaldilemma
and I even had a fangirl moment when I met @aishaandlife for the very first time – what a sweetheart!
Clicks really went all out in spoiling a few of the real natural hair influencers in South Africa. We were treated with one on one product education, full size products from all the brands involved, and we each received a blow-dryer with a comb attachment! No lie!
