I had a plan. Last night I spent time spritzing my hair with water, applying a foamy moisturizing oil and then sealing with Wema’s amazingly delectable hair butter (seriously, my hair eats this stuff up). I then lovingly flat twisted my hair before covering her up gently with my silk helmet.
Today was the day I had planned on doing an updo with cascading curls – and then the wind intervened. I’m sure the wind must have been about 500 knots this morning, but I was sure that I could outsmart it. Wrong!
After spending 20 minutes in the bathroom when I arrived at work, this was the result:
I would like to give a shout out to Uncle Bobby Pins. If he weren’t around, my look would have been a hot mess today.
